2026 Municipal Election Information Report to Council
The Clerk brought forward an information report to the January 26th Regular Council Meeting regarding the 2026 Municipal Election.
The report can be accessed on the Village's website. It includes key timelines, dates, and information pertaining to the 2026 Municipal Election.
Voting Methods & Voting Dates
The 2026 Village of Merrickville-Wolford Municipal Election will be conducting the Election by paper ballots, internet, and telephone voting.
The municipality will be working with Intelivote Systems Inc. to provide eVoting services to eligible voters. This includes internet and telephone voting.
The dates for voting are noted below:
Advance Poll (Internet & Telephone Voting Only)
Monday, October 19th at 10:00 a.m. through to Monday, October 26th at 8:00 p.m.
Advance Poll (Paper Ballot Voting Only)
Wednesday, October 21st
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Election Day (Paper Ballot Voting)
