The municipalities throughout the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville are seeking experienced professionals to serve on the Leeds and Grenville Municipal Election Joint Compliance Audit Committee.
Required under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, the Committee considers applications requesting audits of election campaign finances and may appoint auditors and determine whether legal proceedings are required.
Preferred applicants include professionals with backgrounds in:
- Law, election administration, public administration, auditing, or accounting.
- Campaign financing rules.
- Committee or task‑force experience.
Applicants should demonstrate strong analytical, decision‑making, communication, and collaboration skills, and be available for meetings during the day and evening over a four‑year term. An interview process may apply.
